Mark Gregor (born Marek) studied at Falmouth School of Art to gain a BA Hons in Fine Art before working in Bristol taking commissions for reproductions of Old Master paintings for interior designers and architects. In 1990, Mark had major brain surgery for an aneurysm. He continued to produce his work in his flat up until his death in May 2014.
